I love this skirt the waist band is awesome and was exactly what I was looking for
Beautifully made and fits very well. I would be thrilled with this purchase - HOWEVER. This was my first time purchasing here, and I washed my skirt (purple) on delicate as instructed. However, I washed it with some other delicate items, and now all of my laundry is purple. Not the worst color in the world, but absolutely not what I expected. Instructions need to be much clearer to wash separately to prevent this. I am likely keeping the skirt as it was otherwise well made and I’m a tall girl who likes having a skirt that’s long enough on me. Wanted to put this out there for anyone else who may think to get this so your own laundry isn’t ruined!
Hi Lauren, happy to help ❤️ Always wash your HolyClothing garments separately. Also, to prevent further dye bleeding, we recommend to add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle or one-half cup salt to the wash to help hold in colors. Use color-catcher sheets, which trap extraneous dyes during the wash cycle to prevent bleeding :)
I love Demeter skirts, I have several, and I hope to get several more. I will say that the color on this one is much different in person than its photo on the website. It’s a pale blue color that I was not expecting. It’s still nice-looking, but be careful if you’re considering buying this. Make sure you’re ready for a lighter color. Otherwise, enjoy!!!
My experience with Holy Clothing was excellent, as per usual. The Demeter skirt is such a stunning piece. The seaming, the waist, that lovely belt - marvelous. I have two (Hunter Green and Mystic Purple), and I plan on buying several more. I can pair it with a t-shirt and espadrilles or a peasant blouse and high-heeled boots, and it looks perfect. It’s one of my favorite pieces to wear. Absolutely in love!
